Nafir, design Karim Rashid, Axo Light
Pour créer ce luminaire, le designer s’est inspiré d’un nafir, unetrompette d’Afrique du Nord utilisée pour obtenir des sons particulièrement claironnants. Résultat : des formes organiques et fluides, qui ressemblent à celles de l’instrument pour une lampe sculpture, belle même éteinte. -/ For this pendant light the designer drew on the nafir, a North African trumpet that produces particularly strident notes. So we have a fluid, organic shape similar to that of the instrument, but in a sculptural lamp that is equally beautiful when off. www.axolight.it

Ce nouvel éditeur propose des produits développés et fabriqués à Limoges. Récompensé en 2011 par le Prix de la création d’entreprise detechnologie innovante du ministère de la Recherche, il représentait, en septembre dernier, la France au salon 100% design de Londres. -/ This new design editor produces lighting developed and manufactured in Limoges.
