La méthode ? Tout d'abord, vous créez votre fichier avec un logiciel 3D (Studio Max, Maya, Solidworks ou Cinema 4D). Ensuite, vous téléchargez le fichier vers l’imprimante et imprimez en 3D. Le produit est prêt ! Le fonctionnement d’une imprimante classique avec un document Word, à peu de chose près. A présent, vous pouvez donc imprimer en 3D des objets réels dans une longue gamme de matériaux différents comme le plastique, le métal, le caoutchouc ou la céramique. FOC croient en un avenir proche où les gens auront chez eux des imprimantes 3D… Ils pourront ainsi télécharger des fichiers sur Internet pour produire eux-mêmes leurs objets.
