Dans un immeuble classé du XVII ème siècle en vieille pierre, les deux appartements de la rue Fontaine rivalisent d’élégance et de confort. Idéalement situés en plein centre-ville dans une charmante petite rue pavée, ils offrent une vue, sans vis-à-vis, sur la cathédrale et sur les remparts de la Vieille Ville. Orientés plein sud, ils sont baignés de lumière. Le calme y est olympien et la verdure extérieure fait oublier qu’à deux pas, l’agitation des rues commerçantes bat son plein. Très design, cosy et chaleureux, les deux appartements ont néanmoins chacun leur caractère. Au premier, l’esprit est éminemment contemporain avec des matériaux tendance comme le béton ciré, la chaux, le laqué ou la pierre. Le mobilier, dont l’élégant canapé en cuir blanc, la table basse laquée ou le fauteuil en poulain, est réalisé sur-mesure par John Paul Welton. Des oeuvres d’art, choisies avec un goût très sûr, comme les réalisations des Barilla ou l’immense photographie en noir & blanc de Kate Moss confèrent à l’endroit une atmosphère unique. Tous les détails sont travaillés, de la cheminée qui fonctionne à l’éthanol aux luminaires de designer jusqu’à la vaisselle en porcelaine italienne ou aux tringles de rideau créées sur-mesure par un ferronnier (NO LIMIT). La cuisine, entièrement équipée, est également très réussie. Epurée et d’une blancheur immaculée, elle dispose d’équipements dernier cri avec notamment ses plaques à induction De Dietrich et sa hotte Arclinéa par AmbianceCuisine. De grands rangements, un jeu de portes coulissantes qui permet de moduler l’espace, un écran plasma, du matériel hifi de pointe, tout est véritablement conçu pour le bien-être des résidents. Le second appartement, tout aussi design avec un agencement de type loft, dispose du même confort et des mêmes prestations d’exception, des services quotidiens de la femme de chambre à l’accès wifi gratuit ou à la machine Nespresso. Dans des tons chocolat et blanc, la suite, avec son immense fauteuil Welton design en vachette, ses pans de murs en vieille pierre et sa superbe cheminée, est particulièrement conviviale. Ideally located in the heart of town on a charming cobbled street, both enjoy complete privacy, and views of the cathedral and the ramparts of the Old Town, bathed in natural light thanks to their south-facing aspect. The setting is supremely peaceful, and with views over the leafy treetops it's easy to forget you're in the bustling heart of Geneva's shopping district. Cosy and welcoming, with a chic designer touch, each apartment retains its own distinctive character. On the first floor, the emphasis is on contemporary chic, with the latest materials (waxed concrete, lime, lacquer, stone). Furniture – including the elegant white leather sofa, lacquered coffee table and poulaine armchair – has been made to measure by John Paul Welton. Works of art have been chosen with unerring taste: work by photographers Barilla and a huge black-and-white photograph of Kate Moss create a truly unique atmosphere. Everything has been carefully selected down to the last detail, including the ethanol flame fires, designer lamps, Italian porcelain tableware and curtain poles, made to measure by a traditional blacksmith. The fully-fitted kitchen is superbly designed along minimalist lines, in pure white, with state-ofthe-art equipment including elegant induction plaques from De Dietrich and an Arclinéa extractor hood. Extensive storage and sliding partition doors create a modular space, and the apartment is also fitted with a plasma screen and hi-tech hifi – everything for its occupants'comfort and wellbeing. The second apartment boasts the same designer style and exceptional facilities, in a loft setting, with daily maid service, free WiFi access and a Nespresso machine. Decorated in shades of chocolate and white, with an immense Welton Design armchair in calfskin, old stone walls and a superb chimneypiece, this is a particularly cosy, welcoming space.
